</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>"The easy routes I had, even running them last year, now I’m getting jammed by linebackers and stuff like that," Smith said. That's what happens in the NFL when you rack up 411 yards and four touchdowns in the first four weeks of the season. Expect Smith to have more chances this week as the Eagles' blitzes often leave their corners in single coverage.

He didn't make it in the game.

It will be tough for Mario to get any playing time with the Sharks.........who is currently listed 5th on the depth charts after the Sharks picked up Miles Austin a couple weeks ago.

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>Giants coach Tom Coughlin revealed Friday that Mario Manningham is dealing with a shoulder injury and is "questionable" for Week 8.
Coughlin called Mario "sore" after injuring the shoulder on the final rep of Thursday's practice. Manningham did not practice Friday, which is never a good sign. Give Hakeem Nicks an upgrade on fantasy value boards if Mario sits out at Philadelphia. Nicks would likely play a full complement of snaps.

Mario Manningham - WR - Giants Mario Manningham (shoulder) told NFL Network's Bob Papa that he expects to play on Sunday.
"I'm good to go," Manningham told Papa. He didn't participate in practice on Friday after sustaining the injury in Thursday's practice. Hakeem Nicks would draw the start if Mannigham doesn't go. November 1

Domenik Hixon is starting for Manningham, but expect rookie Hakeem Nicks to get the majority of snaps and Nicks is the fantasy play. Manningham said he expected to play, but the Giants clearly didn't think his shoulder was ready. Unless he has a setback, expect Manningham to be ready to take on the Chargers in Week 9.

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>He just isn't a good fantasy bet. Mario will split snaps with Hakeem Nicks at best, and Nicks figures to start considering his high level of play lately. The Giants may also employ a run-first game plan, as Brandon Jacobs is hot, Eli Manning is struggling, and the Bolts are tough against the pass.
